Carsac de
Gurson
Carsac de Gurson is a
pretty little hill-top village close to Villefranche-de-Lonchat and just 2Km
from La Citadelle.
Carsac is on the "tourist
circuit", but I really don't know why. It is a pretty little village on a
hill-top, but so are thousands of others.

This first view shows Carsac from the direction of the road from St
Méard-de-Gurcon to Villefranche-de-Lonchat, just after it passes through
our woods. |

In the village you will find an attractive little square with a
church and a small manor house. Apart from a couple of dozen little stone
houses, the only other things that Carsac appears to have are its wine
co-operative, and a large spring-water bottling pland behind the
village. |
