La Citadelle

The lake is 70 yards long, 40 yards wide, and is 10 feet or so deep. It is not really for non-swimmers because the water shelves away rapidly from about 2 feet at the edge. As well as being beautifully warm for swimming throughout the season, it is well-stocked with carp and other coarse fish (but no pike).
